It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you all that I have joined the ranks of "ex-Hunter Owners". Due to progressing health problems I have been forced to part with the love of my life, my 1979 Hunter 33 "Serenity Found". I think this split up is harder to take than my divorce years ago.
I wanted to thank all of the members for your helpful hints and support through the years. Phil, this is a top notch site and your store has been handy and convenient for finding all things "Hunter". Major contributors like Maine Sail deserve a degree in boat maintenance. Your easy to follow reviews, instructions and opinions have always been a lighthouse to guide me through the dark and foggy days of "What do I do now?" I have always recommended this site to other Hunter owners I come across, and will continue to do so.
Although I have had a long history of boat repair and maintenance, I appreciate that everybody here treats the "newbie" with patience and respect. To say that you are all a class act is an understatement.
Although I had to part with my lovely lady, I will remain a member here to lurk and possibly throw in my two cents when I feel it may help.
Maybe if I can turn my health issues around, I may buy another boat sometime. Thanks to this site and it's members, it will more than likely be another Hunter, and I'll be back!
Again, a very big heartfelt thank you to all. May you have fair winds and calm seas forever!
