Im looking for a hand shower that has a true on/off switch and not a trickle switch..the only thing i have found is Camco in the Rv market and even then im not totally convinced. Anybody have any personal experience or recommedations?

Mark: How about the ones used as sprayers for the kitchen sinks? They are readily available and do not leak. Chief

I got mine from Camping World. Catalog #34901. Turn water off/on with soapy fingers. Mated up to my old hose.

I have a sailboat and RV and the type in a RV also work very well
with some that have very nice like a sprayer that turn off and on work great.
The one I have in my RV can be purchased in any RV supply and it has a long hose with sprayer that has a turn off and on so can spray water and shut off than soap up and turn on to rinse off soap and they are made for this purpose.
On the boat a little different and has a small push button just likocket e Stu jackson showed and just saying either type will work just fine.

Mark: Fiddling with those leaky push through buttons does suck but these press levers are instant and seal as well. Glad you liked my input. Chief

One of the advantages of the Grohe-type click off unit I have is that there is always a little dribble of water which keeps the same temperature at the shower head when it's released. If I turn it completely off, if there's a reasonably long delay the water starts to get cold. Our surrounding water temperature here is 57F year round, so the long length of hose between the heater and the head can get cooled off pretty quickly. If there's just that trickle, it keeps the warm temperature setting.

Your boat, your choice. :)
