Enclosure curtains

Hey all, so I'm trying to do a project we've been thinking about for a while: curtains for our full enclosure... we have a 99 361 with full enclosure, which in the Pacific northwest gives awesome addition to boat space when it rains. the problem is often guests sleep in cockpit and the morning light gets quite strong with the amount of windows there.

I'm thinking about getting regular curtains and stringing them up with bungee on the inside but I thought I'd check if anyone had done this or have other good ideas. We have a white sun shade for the stern and side windows that goes outside but its only for sun glare and doesn't cut down so much on light. I've looked into paneling up from the outside like dodgers and that was quite expensive, we would not use this often enough to justify it and the enclosure is only up during our stays on the boat.
Any idea appreciated, thanks!

Any photos of your enclosure?
How about attaching (on the inside) where the windows are, pieces of subrella cloth using velcro?

I'm sure I do, not specifically the enclosure maybe but you'll get the idea, I'll look for it tonight. Sunbrella is pretty $$ material so I was thinking something more affordable, it won't be needing the UV protection and water repellent. Velcro might work but worried about sticking/sewing anything onto the walls, I would prefer to use the stainless frame to suspend it.

Any home improvement store could give you loads of ideas. I think something you could trap onto those frames that would hang down, almost like blinds but in fabric, would work. Good luck, happy hunting.

Considering the frequency of use, why not just a plastic tarp over the entire enclosure? I use machine-screw snaps screwed into my stern rails to attach panels to. Sailrite new has a snap system like pop-rivets. A nice quick way to put up an interior curtain.

A plastic tarp might keep light out, and I actually suggested this to the Mrs., but she objected to it for esthetic reasons. Snaps in the rail is an awesome idea, it doesn't weaken the tube? my dodger/enclosure rails are thinner than the rails and I'm worried any drilling would weaken it, even if a screw is inserted.

Might look into a few sets of dark nylon (?) cloth shower curtains ; the kind that you need a plastic liner. The Commodore got some for the boat as curtain matl.; but as yet un-cut. Already have grommets and could be fastened a variety of temporary ways.

Can't believe I dont have a better picture than this but iPhoto decided to be difficult again and I'll probably have to rebuilt it... again... and again but thats a different story.

Hmmm, looking at the picture you need a LOT of curtains. I thought it was just small windows but you have many big windows!
