There's nothing proprietary about either of those parts. When you search for those things the manufacturers will invariably have instructions on what size will fit your boat. Do some research on how to determine size. If someone is selling a used vang or whisker pole they aren't going to say it's for a Cape Dory 31.... they're going describe it generically... that way they can sell it to anyone who has a boat it might fit.... you need to know what size to look for... The easiest way to do that is visit the folks who manufacture and sell them.. and see what they recommend.
