Newport - Volvo Ocean Race

I'm thinking about going to Newport for the weekend of May 15th thru 17th. I was looking at things to do and it appears that America's Cup Charters offers various options for individuals and groups. Would it be possible to assemble a group of 12 from SBO to charter a 12-meter for a 4-hour sail during the in-port race on Saturday? They offer the group charter for $2,600 (probably plus tax). It sounds like fun and a good deal to me. If there is any interest, PM me. I'm hoping it's not too late to make a reservation. I might try for an individual reservation in any event. Individual charters are a 3-hour sail for $195 each.

I received a 3 hour charter as a gift the last time they were in Newport, and it was awesome! Not something I would have normally thought worth doing as I've cruised N Bay for years on my own boat, but it was really great. You can participate in sailing the boat as much as you like. Highly recommend...
