We want to replace our cockpit table with a folding one.
Looking at this one and wondering if the dimensions are what we need for our cockpit.
If anyone has any recommendations or has replaced their table, we would appreciate any information.

Looking at this one for our Beneteau 331-

I'm assuming you would plan to use the Bene hardware to affix to your pedestal and handle the hinge and all. The problem might be that the Edson table is 27" long while the Bene table is 23 5/8" long.

Right, console, not pedestal. I have the same one. I replaced my 331 table last year (the reason I know the length), but I just made a new one out of wood, mostly using the old as a template and then reusing the old hardware.

Tom,
Do you have any drawings for the table you made?

I'm afraid I don't have any drawings but I can take a couple of pictures tomorrow. I truly did just use the old plastic pieces as my template on 3/4" mahogany. To make the wide center piece I did have to join two narrower pieces with dowels, so there was some work there and also in cutting out for those hidden hinges. My one mistake-and it wasn't really fatal-was that I didn't cut the corners of table leaf pieces like the originals because I stupidly couldn't figure why they were done that way. It turns out the angle cut is what allows the leafs to clear the console when folded out with the table up. But no big deal. If you get a table not cut like the original, you'll just need to drop it a bit to fold out the leaves and then put it back up.

Thanks for the info.
Pictures would be great!

Where did you get the hinges?
Those are the hinges from the old polyethylene table. The only problem was that the machine screws that were used along with binder posts (or whatever you call them) for the hinges were too short for the 3/4" wood vs. the original 1/2". I found longer screws (they're metric) at McMaster-Carr and then reused the screw posts.

...(or whatever you call them) ...screw posts.
I believe they are barrel nuts from the pics? BUT they don't have a screw slot, so I suppose binding post is right- according to McMaster-Carr..

I have a 200 36CC and a small cockpit. I just made a teak table but need the hardware that mounts to the console. Any idea where to get that from?

I searched all over for barrel nuts, binder posts (getting hints from McMaster) but couldn't find any of the right size in stainless with no screw slot. It made those originals seem precious! Then again, just wood screwing the hinges into the 3/4" wood might have been strong enough-I just didn't want to take a chance.

My teak table has the same hinges secured with brass screws about 1/2".
