The Macgregor forum on this site is an excellent lace to ask. I have a full width traveller on our 26S and it's one of the best mods I've done to the boat. Ask about it on the forum I mentioned and we can talk.

If you can afford only one mod this is the one to do especially on these water ballast boats. It will really help to keep her on her feet.

I have one 26D with a traveler and 2 without. I like the one with the traveler. Especially for racing. You can really notice the difference in light air.
