Buy this book.I want to kill whatever is making my boat stink. Bacteria may have been the wrong term.
this is the one time in your whole life if you do what is written in this book you will win big time ...its a no nonsense approach to solving these order problems... if it says to use vinegar...then that is the best option.....if it says replace the hoses ...just replace them...sanitation is not free so be prepared to spend some boat bucks on a clean environment or you can keep on using a stinky boat as the man says ..."your boat your choice!"Buy this book.

This is at the very top of this portion of this forum:

Wouldn't that be called lemonade? There may be other things in lemon juice like sugars that bacteria thrive on.
Neither white vinegar nor lemon juice is recommended to kill bacteria. White vinegar, when flushed through the system every week or so, prevents MINERAL buildup in the hoses...I have no idea what good lemon juice would do... it wouldn't solve your odor problem, it would just add a lemony smell to the odor and would also be sticky.I assume white vinegar is recommended to kill bacteria because it is acidic. Wouldn't lemon juice be equally acidic and smell a lot better? Thanks.
Should be a "send message" button just below her pretty picture.I've already looked at her profile, but I don't see any way to email her. Again, I'm probably looking right at it.
Not sure about your system, but when I click the "send message" button, I get both options. She specifically said email, not PM
