Anyone know this elec connector?

Hi all
I have this electrical connector on my engine panel (in the pic.) Do you know what it is for?
It's a 1989 Hunter 30. I'm thinking I want to install my hour meter there. Wiring would be a snap if I use this location.

i agree ...trace the wires back and you will see it goes to your vhf for a remote mic

It's exactly that. I can see the Standard Horizon logo.

Thanks everyone. The installed VHF isn't set up for it. There was an owner's manual in the boat for a different radio. That makes my choice easy.

The buzzer is actually a Sonalert or something similar.
It's now behind the panel and still plenty loud. I plan to leave it there.
