SailboatOwners.com is a dog friendly office and on any given day there are two to four mutts hanging around. Of course, if you've been on the phone with us when the UPS guy shows up, you already know this. Over the next few weeks we're going to feature each dog.

Chuck is a 14 year veteran of the marine industry, starting at SBO when he was 6 weeks old. You may recognize him from our old customer service page where he was shown working customer service with his jaunty headset. Chuck moves a little slower these days but he knows all the systems inside out. Especially the refrigerator. He lives with Bly, who takes him to Golden Corral's early bird dinner special whenever possible.

Shelby was doomed to a kill center as a puppy.

Sue and I rescued this boat babe 10 years ago and we can't imagine life without her. We drove 3 hours into Maryland to get her based on an internet rescue page. She had uncontrollable energy but we could tell immediately (and something about the photo) that she would be a sweetheart. She warms our heart every single day. She's a little slower now climbing the stern ladder but she loves to swim, dive for rings and float on a boogie board.

Found abandoned in our neighborhood several years ago, Tinkerbell hates water but LOVES being with us on our boat (Busy Bee) and dinghy (Buzz).

Getting him used to safety early!
Now he wears it willingly, but still doesn't exactly like to be out there...but I can't leave him when were out all day!

This is Ahna, our husky. She was rescued at 6 months and is more than willing to do anything her humans are doing! Her sea legs aren't the best and she prefers to stay below with the granddaughter.

(I figured these photos would be too big - not sure what I'm doing!)

Amber's been with us for 7 years and on the boat since she was a pup. Loves to swim and will jump off the back of the boat swim around with us.
