Seriously, it hit 61F here yesterday and as of about 5 minutes ago we had 7" of the wet heavy white stuff on the ground.. A buddy of mine went out for a solo sail/overnight yesterday, in full Indian Summer, and today he sailed back in a snow storm....

As they say in Maine "if you don't like the weatha', wait a minute."

I know what you mean! We hit 18.4f 65c yesterday, and a few days ago Buffalo across the lake got 8-10' of snow.

The "just wait a minute" phrase is very universal. It was 83 yesterday and an unseasonably chilly 63 today.

That's what we call -have to put air in the fenders- weather.

Ha, Don. No crocodile tears here. 36 degrees with a stiff NE wind and a cold rain. Burr! I'd rather have snow. Every joint which I've injured in the last fifty years, which is most of them, aches. If blowing up fenders would bring spring, I'd be on it. But have a happy T-day celebration!

I believe every state utilizes the maxim. ;)

I played a round of golf yesterday morning, I just stepped outside and measured 11" of snow!

Don, good perception, I was looking at my fenders yesterday and they looked kinda flat. It will do it to your inflatable dink too.

The guys up north think they are the only ones who have to 'winterize'.

We have a winterization check list here too:

Put more air in the pool floats, fenders, dink

Clean the coils and fins on the A/C

Water the tropical plants on the dock

Break out the sweater (singular) and long pants

Plan for every drive to the marina to take twice as long
