Don't think so. The label says "cockpit light". Any other 36 CC owners have this?

I think that's for what's above the device. Below it it says attention, and it does look like a buzzer. Maybe his boat is French-made?

It is a 12v female connector. It will fit with a slim connector which it used in France.

Correct! I had it on my Beneteau 361 too and replaced it with a "normal" cigarette type plug.
