Outboard Sheeting

My Hunter has the jib sheeting points on the inside cabin top roof. This is good sheeting area for pointing high into the wind. If I want to go off the wind I need an outside sheeting point, something on the rail. Has anyone developed a good solution for outboard sheeting?

Outboard sheeting for passage 456

Thanks for the detailed information! I will just have to figure out how to apply it to my boat!
Our 2002 boat is basically the same as yours , it had 3 oem pads built in to the toe rail, one just forward of the outboard shroud, one midships, and one toward the stern, one had a pad eye installed at the factory, I installed pad eyes on the other two, the use snatch locks to sheet the headsails more outboard. Our boat is center cockpit, but it should not matter.

Thank you for your reply!
Yes, I have the same pads although mine didn't seem to line up where I would have chosen to do outboard sheeting. However, what you say makes sense. Did you have any issues accessing the pads to add the pad eyes?
