It depends on how well they can get along. I wouldn't work with *anyone* who insisted on riding on my back like that.

Be careful as a single axle McGregor trailer is built of light material for a light boat. Chief

Larry, we sold our Mac 26D a few years ago and bought a Hunter 26. The Mac had a well built 3rd party galvanized single axle trailer that physically matched the original trailer's dimensions . You could see the trailer flex as it went down a bumpy road. Its carrying capacity was less than 3000lbs (3400 gross) and it was fairly short. The Hunter trailer is longer with 2 axles. Gross capacity is close to 7000 lbs. where the Mac is slightly under 8 ft wide, the Hunter is 8ft 9inches wide. Don't remember how wide the Mac trailer was but the Hunter trailer is 8ft 6inches wide. I really doubt you could modify a Mac trailer to work in this situation.

If you are considering getting rid of the Mac trailer, let me know. I'm down in Pasadena.

The Mac trailer is single axle and is not built for either the Hunter 26 or 260. Saw one or what was left of it and a damaged 26 once. I would not suggest that at all.

Its report card read, "Does not play well with others."

I have a Hunter 26 and used to have a McGregor 26. The Hunter trailer is designed for a larger load than the Macgregor so I would say no. While pulling it is obvious that the hunter is much more weight.
