Any info appreciated. Upgrades etc. Dare I say keel repairs!
Still have the Hunter 260 tho. Fantastic little yacht!

Are you really getting one?

If yes then that's brilliant, its a fantastic yacht, fast and safe.

If not and you're just taking the piss, then it's in very poor taste. People died.

Have purchased the 40.7.
Sailed her from Sydney to Albany on the Sth coast of Western Australia solo.
Thinking she's a reasonably good yacht.
Do me anyway for a while.

Very nice! With a furler and lazy jacks, the .7s are very nice cruising boats. What did you have to do to the keel?

My keel had slight movement when I hauled her out in Sydney so we put her down on the hard and tightened the bolts up. Very little was required. Lifted the weight off the keel and movement was gone. When I hauled her out over here in Western Australia, after having sailed her around with that being about 2500nm, the keel remained tight. So that was good..
