Rigid boom vang

I would like to install a rigid vang on my hunter 310 and would appreciate any suggestions as to which ones are most durable, easy to install, and work best. My main reason for doing this is to remove my dependency on the lazy jacks to support the boom as I'm looking at installing a cradle cover.

I believe I am getting a Boomkicker but will still keep my soft vang too on my H30.

Kito . . I believe you are on Lake Norman, correct? I'm also looking to add a boom vang to my '84 H31. I've subscribed to this thread. Minimum, I'd like to get a "soft" vang and I'd like to see how you have yours rigged. Can you share pics? Also interested in Lazy Jacks or cradle.

I have pretty much decided to go with the Selden rodkicker as they are the manufacturers of both the mast and boom. I am having trouble, however, identifying the mast section which is needed to select the fitting for the base of the mast. I contacted Eddie at Hunter but he says their info is simply MAST,SELD,STAND,H310. Does anyone know what the mast section is for the Hunter 310, or, the rodkicker mast fitting number?

There should be model/serial number scribed on mast and boom section.

I had a look on the mast for the model / section but couldn't find anything. Hopefully someone will know the mast section for the 310.
