Hi, I bought a Hunter 50 sailboat used of 2007 with standard sail plan and not deep ballast. I want transform the sail plaIn adding the staysail, and that other modifications must be made to, in order to have a balanced sail plan, the mainsail and jib? What do you recommended?

Check Manual or With Hunter

The staysail was an option as I recall, so there should be an illustration in the manual. If not, I'd check with Hunter for the specifications. I don't think there is anything else to change.

Before you invest in the project you might want to talk with a good rigger. A staysail added to a sloop does not make it a cutter, I have one and really am not sure if I would fly it, I always thought I wanted one as it would increase the slotting, but after discussing it with a good racer/rigger it seems that the stay is more clutter.
