Headed to Annapolis and the National Sailing Hall of Fame (NSHOF) before departing for St. Michaels on Wednesday and the Cheasapeake Bay Maritime Museum where she will spend the coming weekend. I heard Sultana will join her there. Maryland tall ship sailing heritage.
That's terrific! I will be sailing over to St. Mikes on Friday and staying the weekend.
So beautiful! It would be fun to be able to go and see the ships. I saw the Sultana at St. Mary's, MD once. Neat ship!
Cambridge has a medium-ship festival, with a parade around the harbor, usually the second Saturday after the schooner race. That might be Oct 25 weekend?

I have tried several years in a row to schedule a ride on one of the big ones for Downrigging Weekend. 2 years in a row my day was cancelled due to a Nor'easter, and the most recent one was the first snowstorm of the season.
Early snow, that year. And the previous year, the Nor'easter was on Saturday, and you know how gorgeous the weather is the day following… but I already had plans for that Sunday, so couldn't reschedule. Last year I didn't even bother. Also, we have to have boats out of our marina on the lake by the last day of October… This year, I would likely pull the boat the weekend prior. Maybe I should try again...
