Drop in Replacement for Raymarine Depth

Anyone ever heard of a drop in replacement fish finder for the Raymarine depth instrument? Am trying to keep things simple and would love to just replace the old ST instrument display with a fish finder display that fit the same hole, etc.

Never seen one. I think the display on a fish finder is going to be too large for the Ray form factor. Just not enough screen space. you probably could not see it from the helm anyway if it was that small.

The Raymarine transponders are/were made by Airmar. You might want to contact Gem Electronics Cop. as they now make the Airmar transponders and may advise you on a drop-in replacement. Call 803-693-0777

That is why one that fit there would be nice. Seems like you would get about a 4" display which is about the size of a Humminbird Piranha.
