We have a 1999 352. It has two freshwater tanks. One under the forward vee berth and another between the port lazerette and the galley. The one located under the vee berth is accessible and it has an opening on the top that allows access to the tank. I can't begin to find a way to access the aft tank. There isnt any access from the lazerette, the refrigerator is in the way from the other side, and no access below the galley sink. Any suggestions?

I want to empty the freshwater tanks. I am concerned that just running the faucets will kill the small freshwater pump. I am thinking of going to Lowes and buy a small sump pump that can do 6 gpm and pump them out this way, thereby saving wear and tear on the boat's pump. Any thoughts?

The picture attached is not mine. Open the door that I marked. Lift up the floor board, it's removable. You will see the access port to the aft tank.

ps: Added some more pics

Thanks so much for the quick response. This is the ONLY place we did not look this weekend! I can't believe we missed it.

It is a robust little pump and I routinely use it to pump down the tanks. However, the pickup tube only goes down so far and you need to access the tank through the inspection port to really empty/clean the tank.
