Our autopilot wheel "hub" fell apart our 3rd day out. Sounded like we got hit by hail, all the bearings spilled out and overboard. We think we got all the plastic strips that held the bearings. Anyone know how to fix this? Raymarine installed by manufacture on 2006 356 Hunter, installed on (behind) folding wheel.

Sounds like Raymarine MK2 Wheel Drive. Search eBay you'll find detail parts of the wheel drive. You'll need to order the black ring (probably broken) and ball bearings .

Didn't know it was possible to mount an autopilot on a folding wheel (and still allow the wheel to fold). Could you post a photo of the installation?

Yes you can mount the Raymarine MK2 Wheel Drive on a Lewmar Folding Steering Wheel.

Sorry I can not take a picture, but yes it WAS on folding wheel. Technically it is just hanging off the back now since it fell apart.
