Any advice on connecting shore power and effects on anodes and sail drive.
The shore power on my 40.7 only supplies power to the battery charger.

It makes crazy when people just reply to tell me to go someplace else to read about my question but...I apologize.. Look up galvanic corrosion It can be caused by your boat, possibly by your marina if the wiring to the dock is old and in disrepair, or other boats near you wired wrong.
I wired a Galvanic Isolator into my shore power system and hope that it is working as it should.
If your shower power cable is going directly to your battery charger only I would guess the biggest worry would be the marina and boats next to your putting stray current in the water.

Is your shore power green going to your boats common ground?

Just to the battery charger?

On every First 40.7 I've been on, it also powers:

Hot water heater
AC outlets

When I say shore power perhaps I need to clarify this.
I have a 15amp extension cord that is connected to the 240v supply bollard on the dock. The battery charger is plugged into the other end. Nothing else.
In other words the battery charger is connected directly to the power source.
There is nothing else connected to the power source other than the battery charger.
