Oday 19 Forward hatch latch

Anyone have a photo of the forward hatch latch on an O'day 19? I have to build mine and the latch and support are missing. I found the spring type support do they work well?

She does not look great but she is finally water tight and I want to do drop her in the water.

the support is similar to what you would see on a small hatchback car.

Are you still looking for info on this? I had to replace the rod that holds mine open (and locks it in position) - obtained the small one from West Marine. Let me know if you still need photos.

Thanks I got it figured out and finally got the Honda 7.5 4stroke humming again. Did not see in the manual that there was a tiny fuel filter. I just looked at where the hoses went to the side of the head and saw the large flat headed screw and decided to remove it. The filter was misshaped from trying to suck in gas.
