Hairdryer for boat?? Have 1500 Watt inverter..

Suggestions please on hairdryer for boat..I know many will say let it air dry..But if someone could actually suggest hairdryers, it would be so appreciated...When at dock they can use marina bathrooms and we have of course shore power..When on mooring of course different story...I know we were told nothing more than 1000watt..Just looking for suggestions

My wife uses a low heat 12-v blow drier. It has a male lighter plug that I plug into a socket the wires of which are alligator-clipped directly to the battery terminals (i.e., current does not pass through in-line fuse leading to a socket mounted on the panel). For a treat, I sometimes fire up the 900-watt portable generator to use the AC version on low heat (power); but it is still hotter than the 12-volt. (No high-wattage inverter installed on the boat.)

Shouldn't be a problem as my wife regularly uses hers on a 1375w inverter in our RV. Draws 1k on low setting. Just check the wattage on the drier and be sure your several 100w below the inverter output and you should be fine. Chief

My wife has a old hair dryer that has low med high and not sure what she uses but watch the battery monitor go red for sure.
What ever makes her happy I let her use the microwave or any appliance she
wants as long she gives warning.
I can tell you if using a hair dryer than have a good large house bank and a way
to charge them back up,I do have solar and gen so I don't worry as long as
she goes SAILING I am all set with plenty of battery power.
We do what ever it takes to keep our women happy and sailing.
