Dumb woman question, but how do you remove this panel. There are white covered round raised button-like "somethings" Do they pull off or screw off? I really don't want to ruin them getting them off. There is a leak I need to stop. Joan

C'mon ......................

Dumb woman question,
................... that the worst you can do for dumb questions  ? Many of us have asked faaaaaar worse. Yours is actually quite sensible.

Just out of curiosity, you say you're headed behing the panel to deal with a leak. I trust you're actually doing you're sealing on the stanchion or chain plate on the outside of the boat and not just stopping the leak on the inside of the boat. This can have nasty consequences.

Check the Search menu here for an encyclopedia of information on dealing with specific leaks.

Yes, I'm aware that I have to fix leak on outside of boat, but I do need to get the panel off to hold the bolt to screw it back on. Have had no luck pulling the panel off. Can get my hands underneath the bottom, but cannot pop the snaps.
