A small pack of ring terminals (4 in a clear pack) manufactured by Ancor can run 5 bucks. Jamison distributors wants 269 dollars for a assorted box with 275 pieces!!! Anyone know a source that isn't 1$ each for an item worth 2 cents?

check quality of the connectors as well: compare tinned, with integrated shrink w/adhesive terminals versus the garden variety...Do it right, do it once. Unfortunately, I do not have any cheaper resources available, just knew what I wanted and paid the premium

In my experience, coming up on 40 years now, the Ancor terminals are worth the price. You can often get them cheaper on the auction sites. You might try genuine dealz .com as well.

Not sure where you get the 2 cents value, but when it comes to the tough conditions of a boat, motorcycle or drag car, I have found the Ancor to hold up MUCH longer than the imitations.

The FTZ terminals they sell here at SBO are better than Anchor and if I remember correctly, they are also cheaper. They are all I use now.

I agree with KDPC. A failed corroded terminal can be frustrating. Quality connections will eliminate many sources of frustration not to mention safety. Buy quality terminals and quality crimpers. After 40 years in the aviation/electronics field, I'm convinced that $1 each is actually cheap. The cheap ones are expensive.
