what is this under the cockpit seat?

I'm thinking you can put anything in there that would fit. Perhaps I missed something but it IS your boat.
Very true is my boat... But dad said it was a cooler and I pointed out not enough room for ice AND beer... He was disappointed!
GeorgiaBill, it is an ICE Box, but I keep lines in mine as if you do keep ice in there it will condensate and drip water inside the cabin.

I keep a fire extinguisher, the hatch boards, a rigging knife, the companionway hatch padlock, and my keys in mine. The last item is so that I CAN'T ever discover that my keys are in the cabin after I've locked the boat up... :-D

Hehe my boat is parked under some tree's while I prep it for the summer. Tree **** gets EVERYWHERE! It'll be clean when she hits the water next weekend.
I'm thinking it has a drain for a reason. Lots of ice and a few adult beverages for quick access for first aid purposes. The big cooler to restock from in the cabin.
