450 Solar Panel

I don't know at what point Hunter incorporated a solar panel between the bridge deck and the mast step. Mine looks a little rough as would be expected baking in the sun for a dozen years. Is there a solar controller for the unit or was it just a trickle feed? Where did they terminate it, so It could be tested to see if it is still alive?

My boat has a fuse located on the wall in the aft cabin near the mascerator buttons and the fuse for the windlass. You could check the output there with a voltmeter.

I will look there to see, I am curious if it still is producing and I didn't want to poke holes in the wire.
