So been looking and thinking of a new Furler, the Profurl B29L looks to be my choice as of now, I think its the right one for my tall rig. Does anyone use a profurl? the basic is all I need. Just would like a furler that works, and I can reef, and that still used the boat halyard rather than internal.
thoughts?

currently I have an old reefer II system in which no parts are available and it is not able to be reefed. so I dont think I need to modify the sail at all

Ours has worked without issue. It is great.
Do you have the b29l? Or just a profurl. Wanna make sure it's the right size for the boat. The price is awesome for the basic series cheaper than cdi or such and I know profurl is a great brand

Not b29l. Can't remember what the number is. But it's about 10 years old. Works great. No problems.
