H355 Ice Box Size

Looking to add an Isotherm SP system to my icebox, my First Mate was a good sport last year hauling ice, but we'd really like to leave a few things refrigerated over the week and not have to haul back and forth every weekend. Was going to see about ordering and installing before launch, but I'm stuck on the size.

I'm about an hour and a half from my boat, so a bit over 3 hours to get a few measurements. Was hoping someone here was in a warmer climate and a bit closer to their boat and might be able to help out? Was looking for simple width, height (front to back), and depth (top to bottom). Now, on mine, there is a shelf/platform on the right/forward side of the box. If you have the same set up, and could get the depth to that shelf as well, would be greatly indebted.

Expecting to replace galley sink thru hull, and then likely install compressor under the sink or under the port settee seats between the water heater and CNG tank.

Thanks in advance to whoever may be able to deliver!

Hi, was at the boat today and remembered your post.

The compartment is 22 in wide at the stern and 17 1/2 at the bow end, by 28 1/4 long. This measurement is at the top just below the 2 in thick lid. At the bottom the aft wide is 15 inches and for'd is 12 1/2.
It is 16 1/4 inches deep with the lid shut.

The shelf is 12 inches wide, with 7 1/4 inches below it and 9 1/4 above.
The freezer unit is 10 inches by 5 inches on the aft wall.
The compressor is below the port lazarette at the aft bulkhead.

Let us know how you make out.

355 Ice Box - Thanks Stretch!

Thanks, this is great. Quick calculation indicates just at 5 cu ft, which meets specs for Isotherm 2351. Thinking of standing the "O" up at the far forward end of the ice box, above the shelf. The Isotherm 2551 would provide more cooling, but the "O" is too tall to stand without moving or cutting into shelf. My plan is to put the evaporator as high as possible (since cold falls), and to the far right (forward) in the ice box.

Need to finish sanding/finishing the floor boards before I jump into this one, but with your help I at least know which unit I'm looking at and can start planning/budgeting.

Thanks!
