There was a long thread about this a while ago. Bottom line - it was inconclusive with mixed results and too expensive to risk trying.

This Is A Job For SuperMaine, Mainesaii that is.

One of the few reviewers with any street creds.
The science b behind it sounds feasible. One of the concerns I would have is delaminating the fiberglass or bottom paint.
As a kid when I worked an a Pawnshop/Jewelry shop, we had an ultrasound machine for cleaning gold and diamonds. We were instructed not to clean Pearls as they would dissolve from delaminating.
The other concern would be the lack of effectiveness on the keel where the waves would be dampened,

If it worked, you'd know somebody who uses it and is happy with it. If it worked, the forums would be full of threads of people talking about how awesome it is. If it worked, you'd be able to buy it in every chandlery. If it worked... well, let's face it, it doesn't work.

Yes you have to do that. But you can always learn you know. It was easy for me, as far as I can remember. :)

Anyone wanna buy some fuel magnets?

This stuff just won't die. I'm ashamed for them every time I see them in a mag or at a boat show. I'm not too impressed by the folks that run the adds for them.
