Has anyone used west system six ten two part expoxy that comes in a tube that goes in a caulking gun ?

Yes.
I used a couple of tubes of 610 last spring when getting my O'day ready for launch. Most of it was used to fill the screw holes when I replaced the rub rail. The thickened epoxy worked well and did not run.
I used a cheap caulk gun at first and bent it up pretty good squeezing the handle. Switched to a better built gun and no issues.
You can buy extra mixing tubes so you don't have to use the entire tube at once.

Keep it cool and it works just fine,although not exactly cheap.
If you need a lot buy in bulk,resin and hardener won't go bad.

check your email as to choice. when epoxy kicks so fast, it is not good to work with either and some tend crystalize when popping off that fast. I still say Water Tite to repair the hull to deck joint. Yes it is a 24 hour dry time but hard as steel when dry and sandable but it worked well for me over the years.

Crazy Dave, going for the water tight as per your suggestion . It just looked like a good easy way to fill that crack with the tube and caulk gun . Reading about how little actual product there is in the tube was good to know before I bought it .Thats what makes these forums so invaluable .
In 2013 I used Six Ten to repair the keel to hull joint. I injected the Six 10 from the caulk tube into the existing crack, filling the void.
I just hauled out two weeks ago and the repair had failed because the Six Ten did not bond to the keel. I sanded and ground the surrounding West epoxy I had used to fair and the white plastic material came out in a chunk. Rabbit, a skilled repair person working on the S/V Choices, used West epoxy and fiberglass to bond the keel and hull stub together for me. I faired by sanding and it looks good now.

I have always used the West epoxy and hardener in the cans, and added the appropriate filler material (red or white, depending on use). It is obviously less convenient than the caulking gun, but I assume is quite a bit less costly, unless maybe you use the whole tube at once or get the spare nozzles. If you do go that way, I'd invest in the mixing pumps (there is a kit with one pump for the resin can and another for the hardener).
