The article may have been a joke but surely some good attorney could make the case that the lighthouse was in motion as the Earth revolves around its axis and that the boat was just holding position as it slipped on the fluid surface and that it was indeed the lighthouse which rammed the boat. All he would need is a cuckoo judge and the fight would be on.
