Not worth a new thread but cant imagine hijacking one to ask

I'll never forget some years ago cruising Barnes & Noble, (A.K.A. the crack store for info junkies), and bought a book titled "How To Sh** in the Woods". The title was funny, and my oddball sense of humor impulsively put it in the pile. I read it. Of course I did. I've said here before I read a lot, even five different bibles just for the insight. And while I'll leave that alone, this book had to be one of the all TIME biggest pieces of slanted garbage I've ever insulted myself with. The book was NOT a joke as I had thought, (I don't waste my time reading covers in a bookstore, I grab about ten or twenty interesting pieces and FLEE), and went on in detail about how to deal with the evil menace, ie: the turd. While I could have easily used this as a script form for a 1960's horror classic, within a couple short chapters, (Of COURSE they were short, the subject matter was sh**!), I hit me how truly delusional some environmentalist must be. Shockingly unbelievable the desperate measures the author must have went through decontaminating the excrement to the point of ingestion, which by that point I was TRULY hoping the idiot was about to get around too, you know, like the epic climax of Titanic going down, and in screenplay the entire audience is chanting, 'Eat, eat, eat".
But no, not the case. It was more insidious than that. I won't get into it all, it was madness. Unable to obtain the authors address so that I could go on a liberation mission to save this man, or kill him and dispose of the nasty dog crap eating corpse in his own plastic bag and burying it 14 feet below terra firma, I too soiled the land by throwing this piece of forbidden knowledge in the trash, not recycle. I didn't want to take a chance on the public getting hold of this info, but in retrospect the word may have gotten out..

This book made zero mention of the important things, like the difference between the floater and sinker, consistency upon reaching the Earths atmosphere at sea level with no contained compaction, nor projections from the truly talented. Even in the index there was no mention of the 'Dry Dock', which entails turning off the water coming into the bowl, flushing it dry, and THEN leaving one there. On a first date at her house. Nor even a clue as how to perform 'The Upper Decker", which I think is classified under at least a GS17.

So RELEASE!! Release the turd. To return to the Earth from whence it came. I prefer the method of like setting fish free, you know how you hold them in your cupped hand and gently sway it back and forth in the shallows. This is Youtube stuff, baby. A Hero classic. The wife standing nearby wiping tears, the kids cheering just like in Free Willy. Maybe even repeating the chant I mentioned above in memory of the latest bush hugger I left to rot in the mountains because he was hungry and stupid, and I had no mercy.
And he had just buried his dinner in biodegradable bags or sumpin..

I nominate Chris as our "Edward Snowden" of classified information.

There's never TMI!

Oh Lord. Poor Ed. It showed his colors when he hit 'em. The only reason Lazar is alive today is because he had the good sense to claim 'aliens', and make his credibility nothing. But enough of this. We're talking about hanging bags of dogs*** off of the side of the boat here. I'm still laughing to tears over that one..

I even met a lady one time that had a very large hawser rope hanging from the rail so that the cat could get back ON board in case the hubby disembarked the meow, meow from the deck. By the tail of course. You have to make sure and get them over the rail, from behind the boat. Cats can not swim that fast.

I probably ought to hang a rope off my rail too in the event the Admiral makes me walk the plank or just takes an opportunity when my back is turned.

Can I suggest a harness and hang the critter form the boom. Swing it over the side...
There may be a bit of a learning curve for the critter. But if you get them young enough...
This should solve the problem while off shore.
The only way I see to solve the inshore or any other time is a kennel. Doggy day care.

For a second there I thought you were going to suggest putting the harness on Fifi and tossing the pooch astern...

And I thought I was alone on this quest! Have you ever dumped a porta-potty while under way? It matches the description of whale crap to the tee. And who decided that humans have less rights to the planet than every other life from? We have a greater responsibility, especially due to our unnatural and unhealthy (IMHO) concentrations in some areas. For sure. Good stewards and all. And now, apparently, we carry so many noxious diseases that an occasional turd, tossed willy-nilly over the toe rail will surely crumble the local ecosystem? I wonder home much poison is pumped into the air at the Prius plant, what with all the underpaid workers who can't afford them driving to work and all. OH, here I go. Better sign off before I get the thread pulled!

Is that a trick question? Whichever is closer, the Port-Potty or the transom.

Hey, while at it, let's discuss "eco-friendly" fluorescent bulbs loaded with mercury and all kinds of other poisons!

When i go hunting, i do like the bears if needed, when on the water, if there is pumpout available i use the tank, if there is none where i am going, i use the overboard, turd come floating from the city plant in the marina more time then it should occur, so what is my little thing in all that water? It will decompose and nutrient left in it are fertilizing the ecosystem, the carrot, potato and veggies u eat where fertilized with animal waste, and these animal eat hay that was fertilized with their doodoo....
