woody, ie9? C'mon buddy, that is not one of the "preferred" browsers anymore, like, for years. Firefox or Chrome work much better.

thanks Stu for the heads up about the ie9 thing but the thing of it is
my puter is so old that George Washington has slept in it more than once and every time he does is make my little mouse mad as hell and i have to feed him a lot of cheese to get him back to work cranking the handle that makes this thing work...i got invaded by explorer 8 a few weeks back with out my choosing and it took me a while to get used to it.... something about my old browser being old..and now later this year XP is going to crap out from what I understand and i have no idea what i am going to do ...looks like a new puter is on the horizon for me weather i like it or not ....rant over back to your regular scheduled programing .....again thinks for the clariafication......

woody, I'm using XP on our desktop, still works and is a pretty good OS (compared to Vista what isn't?!? ). I have W7 on our laptop.
XP is not being "supported" anymore by MS, but if you have SP3 installed, it'll run forever, 'cuz the "bad guys" aren't bothering with corrupting old OSs anymore.
Keep it, but keep the mouses running that charging cage!

thanks for the info Stu i will look in to theFirefox thing and see about changing my explorer i think i have SP3 and i have a note pad but not sure whats on it oh and i do have an I Phone 4 am sorta holding of on buying anything right now untill i float my boat ...there are way to many choices out there for me to just grab one and go ...I like working on boat a lot more than dealing with puters thats for sure....woody, I'm using XP on our desktop, still works and is a pretty good OS (compared to Vista what isn't?!?

As someone who works in the computer security field, I can tell you that the word is that the bad guys are eagerly awaiting the XP end of life. Once that happens, they'll have all the time they want to take advantage of XP vulnerabilities. There's even evidence that XP vulnerabilities discovered by the bad guys now aren't being used, so that they don't get patched by MS before the end of life. And the bad guys absolutely still do take advantage of unpatched operating systems. They use them for all kinds of nasty things like conducting denial of service attacks and mining virtual currencies like bit coin, adding to your power bill by running your CPU full out all the time. Between that and new viruses like crypto locker that encrypt all your files until you pay a ransom, I'd encourage you to heed the warnings and upgrade to windows 7 before XP support ends.

It took me a few time scrolling to realize you could pin point a location. It actually stays there while you zoom in.
