C&C 43 Landfall Boot Key
Hi Everyone, Hope you all had Wonderful Holidays. I have owned and sailed a 1983 43' C&C Landfall Center Cockpit for the past three years. It has a Simpson Lawrence V1500 12V Windless. On the top of the Windless there is what appears to be a 1/2" round hole with a notch at the bottom. I am assuming that this is for a manual crank if needed? We have never found the crank and I am hope someone has seen one of these and maybe can tell me or send me a picture of what needs to be fabricated. Thanks again for your time and attention to my query.

Hi Everyone,

You should check the SL spares website the have good drawings for download
Your description sounds like the Anchorman series which I have on mine the bolt at the bottom is an allen key used fro lowering the anchor it operates a clutch
Let me know what happens
I know this as I have mine apart right now rebuilding it
