Rubber Trim on Arch Issue

I am having an issue with the rubber trim on the arch. The Bimini is pulling it away from the arch. Has anyone glued or screwed this rubber trim in place or would suggest an other fix.

What Trim

I am sorry but not sure what rubber trim you are talking about on the stainless Arch,are you talking about what holds the bimini onto the arch.
If so I have a track made of aluminum tha the bimini slides onto and it is riverted on.

As Nick said, theres a plastic rod that slides into an aluminum track, the track is riveted to the arch. The platic rod is sewn to either a zipper or dirctly to the bimini. So depends on what failed.

We have a 1998 Hunter 340 with the fibreglass arch . There is a piece of rubber or flexible plastic that covers the seam that the two pieces of the arch where the two halfs of the arch join. More or less like a cap that runs along the outer edge of the arch from port to starboard on the leading edge of the arch. It basically covers the joint. The Bimini attaches to the arch with a

What. Is happening is the dome fasteners are pulling out of the fibreglass and pulling off the rubber trim. The previous owner tried to caulk the edge of rubber trim to the arch but not strong enough to hold the stress of the Bimini. I could glue it but I am worried once it's glue if I ever have to take the arch apart (and I can't see why I would) I would have a really hard time getting the trim off. I could rivet it but not the best for structure compromise and estitics.

I was hope someone with a fibreglass arch has had this issue and came up with a good fix I haven't thought of. Sorry no pics but going up to the the snow covered, freezing rain covered boat to check and will take some pics then

Sorry really never remember seeing what you have on your fiberglass arch
and on my stainless arch we have a rounded track with rivets and a round
material on the edge of the connector and it slides into the track on front of arch and holds it on that end and zippers the other end onto the dodger and same setup on bimini side with a round track.
So a photo would be good for sure and no snow please as we are up in NY for XMAS and don't want any snow while here.
