Fortunately living near the Stockton Delta in California we are lucky to have wonderful sailing days even in December. For those of you buttoned up for the winter here is a few pictures of today's short sail. Until the wind died! Still had three nice hours of sailing. We deserve it, we have Jerry Brown...again......

I'll be there Christmas Eve...
I sail with a friend on his Islander 30 out of Owl Harbor, we will be down for a quick sail Christmas Eve day....I hope the weather holds...I know what you mean about the wind dying....we were racing last year and had to anchor at the leuward mark to keep from drifting on up the river...They finally had to call the race..With our local lake so low and no rain or snow, we just might be bringing our boat down that way too this spring...
We have friends that sail out of Hidden Harbor too, beautiful place...

Just saw your post. We LOVE Owl Harbor! Was there this year for a time as we sailed the Bay and Delta for a few months. Did a video of our trip, and it shows how nice it is at Owl!

Owl Harbor is a neat little place. The place where I have my boat at Hidden Harbor is an out of the way very quiet marina. It is hidden and often people drive right by and never see it. I love the place.

My girlfriend is originally from a small place called hamburg near buffalo. After living in California. She will never go back to New York.

I'm near Rochester. Cold & crappy some of the time, but no big earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, or tornados. But cold & crappy some of the time!

I took a look at your video, looks like you had a great trip! We were at Owl Harbor the weekend of the Crawdad Festival, sorry we missed you...Maybe next time?
