stern seats

Bob,
I must admit, your seats look brand new. Those original teak/starboard stern seats look sharp when kept up. By the way, where is Port Salerno?

Jim, boat is on the hard at Hinckley's in Port Salerno, Manatee Pocket. I will keep in touch as we get ready to leave.

Richard, Manatee Pocket is on the ICW at MM 987. It is right at the St Lucie Inlet. Port Salerno is a very sheltered natural harbour. A number of marinas and boat yards around the shore line. It is home to a small commercial fishing fleet, they put on a great seafood festival every January. The population is only about 10,000, we quite like it as our base down south. More information here, http://cruisersnet.net/?s=manatee+pocket&cat=-6&x=-1139&y=-95

regards, Bob.

still bored

Yes, stern rail seats 100% starboard.

Having fun getting ready for the next season.
Props have been cleaned service and polished to a high shine.

Have plenty of rum available to provide winter comfort....

Rum....did someone say rum?

Jim's boat always looks sharp! I remember how the stern rail seats looked when he did the wood last time. I have to admit that the new starboard ones look really nice too. The more I sail the less I like exterior wood. It is such a pain.

Prop looks great what did you use to get it to such a great shine?
Once the crud was cleaned off, it just was a buffing wheel, rubbing compound and then polishing compound. Back and forth.

Thanks Bad...

Hate to put it back in the water...

That is the irony of things on the boat underwater. We spend so much time making things nice on the bottom and we never really see them. Then after they are in the water for a while they get crudded up again.

+1. I just spent a couple of weeks fairing the keel then coating the keel and rudder with 5 coats of interlux 2009. Next step is bottom paint before it gets too cold.

Hmmm maybe after that I'll polish the maxprop.
