I have a 1992 Cat 30 with the flat traveller. The leads to the cockpit pass thru a bullseye on the coach roof and provides a bum (lousy) lead to the line stopper. This makes moving the traveller under load even more difficult.
I would like to install a block in place of the bullseye but don't know what's underneath the fairlead, line stoppers etc on the coachroof near but not on the winch pads. None of the line handling equipment is thru-bolted to the interior so there must be something solid in there (wood, metal??).
Any suggestions or knowledge of what's in there appreciated. Anyone else worked on this problem?
