Winter Cover Frame

Another Puzzler!!!

I have a winter cover made by Genco for my 310. Unfortunately there was no frame with it.

The owner said it was a wood frame but others said it should be an aluminum frame. Does anyone happen to what it should be and or have a frame plan that I can produce my own from.

Got a quote from Tirton for $1500.

Went to Nedco electrical supply and bought galvanized EMT tube ($8 per 10 ft length) and build one myself for a lot less money. Need a pipe bender for $40.

Does not attach to the stenchion. Has PVC chair feet to protect the deck. Actually the picture shows the stenchions were removed to prevent bending by the wind. The strapping keep the frame in place. Its quite rigid once everything is tensioned down.

Since the pic was taken I have made it a bit wider by 6 inches. No need to remove the stenchion now.

It only take 2 hours to put up the frame and cover.

I put everything on the deck before the crane haul the boat out. No lifting of heavy pipes and tarp up to the boat on cradle.
