In Need of Emergency Tiller - O'Day 30'

I recently purchased a 1982 O'Day 30' but it does not have an emergency tiller on board. I am looking for suggestions as to how to obtain a replacement.

the original is just a pice of alum pipe welded 90* and has notches in the end to engage the pin that crosses the top of the rudder post. You should be able to make one pretty easy.
