It seems I've tracked these down before, but can't find my notes. I need to replace some of the black plastic fittings - in particular. the tee fittings just below the faucet in the galley. I think they've been overtightened in the past and now leak if the system is fully pressurized.

I found them before at Grainger or somewhere similar, but can't remember the brand name or size at this point.

Could be a good day for a sail Sunday, before the wacky weather comes in. Am working on talking the wife into an overnighter aboard soon (she's still recovering from the last one, even though it was six months ago).

Wish me luck.

John

Wish i could help. My whole water system has been down for years due to the leaky tank. I am finally going to the boat today, but i plan to try to chicken out on swapping my fuel tank for now. I am too nervous about running into some issue which would leave the boats engine inoperable when it comes time to pull her for the winter. Just way too much going on at work with the sale of the company going through this week. I have two trips in Nov. already and two more on the radar before Xmas. Plus my Wife is all over me about fitting in a vacation before the end of the year. I don't even know who will be in the chain of command yet never mind asking for vacation yet!

the plastic fitting are very good for instalation...i got mine at Hamilton marine or Defender cant remember who right now....get you a good tube cutter for plastic pipe and hose...you will not regret it....and for the heavy duty hose like waste and exhaust hose that is wire bound i have a Fine multi tool with a carbide blade...you cut all the rubber of the hose and then use a set if dike side cutters to cut the wire...like a guy in the army once said "Peace of cake !"....

I hope this isn't your way of breaking it to us that you'll soon be rich as Croesus and will trade in the S2 for a Gunboat cat.

I wish! But i did get a whole half of a percent of the company and worked harder than anyone else for 18 months to earn it. It will take five years for me to see all the money from it and the last three years are driven by product sales numbers so at this point i don't even know how much it will end up being. I will be able to at least pay off Triple Play soon. Maybe i will treat myself to a new Genoa.
