I've had that bookmarked for quite a while. And no body can say- people don't care.

That shot of all the boat wakes streaming towards Manhattan still makes my eyes water a bit. And all from ONE radio call from the Coast Guard!!

My step son Kevin Shea the only survivor of ladder company 35 was transported by boat with other injured first responders by boat to hospitals in NJ and he was also transported by helicopter later for emergency surgery.
He is very much OK now after 1 year of rehab and would not know looking at him that he was so badly injured from 911.

My son is a volunteer fireman. It's amazing the training they go through. Even more amazing is what they are willing to do to help others. I'm glad Kevin is doing well.
