I had some photos that came out nice and wanted to share them with the rest of you.

The Rain let up here on the MS Gulf Coast so we were able to get out this evening.

Heading out of Long Beach Harbor around 630pm...

Yay! Representing the home port. I can almost see my mast in that first pic. Last two weekends were a bust for me. The rain was relentless. Sat in cabin reading with a/c going. Finally gave up Saturday, packed up, and headed north. Hoping for better weather this holiday weekend. Ready for some sailing, trolling, and wade fishing.

Hey LooseD,

Good to hear from you. Yep rain has been relentless; I'm starting to grow webbing between my toes. :)

Extended forecast looked like high pop/prob of precip for Friday through Sunday. Hopefully that turns out better than forecasted.

FYI I rely on a good summary marine forecast at L-36.com. There is a summary of the meteorological events behind the extended forecast and a summary graph of expected winds for a week or so out. For. Main page look for weather and tide link a top and then enter your zip code for your marine Fcast.

Maybe others have seen similar, this is what I have found that summarizes the data I find pertinent for better understanding the weather.

Very Nice

Makes me want to rush back to Florida but we are having a great time up north traveling with our RV and looking at all the beauty in Vermont and Mass. with such big beautiful mountains and very tall trees.
See ya on the water in Oct.

Nick, it sure looks different without snow. Maybe less steep, too? Have a great trip.

Here are a couple of long exposure pics from my slip. That is Steves Marina restaurant lit up. Since they built that, my ham sammich on the boat has never been the same! If the wind is right I can smell it mid morning. Good food. Second the L-36 site. Everything on one page and customizable. I need to send that guy some money. It is my go-to site.
