What type of Rig?

Since both masts have yards, it is a square-topsail schooner.
Didn't notice the yards on the main. Also while the pic was enlarged, noticed the foresail is boomless. She's got an awning set there.

And a true Hermaphrodite would be totally square rigged on the fore, or so I recall.. Haven't looked these kinda things up in years. Used to crew occasionally on a 50 foot Gaff Schooner. Amazing vessels off the wind, no matter how rigged.

I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
They had a big event a few years ago at St. Mary's Maryland. They had a bunch of tall ships and reenactments. I sailed by a few of the tall ships.

It is an amazing experience to sail by these. As I was going into the St. Mary's River I had the Kalmar Nichol coming up behind me.

My wife loves to cruise on the BIG metal boats, and when leaving from San Diego CA, we usually see the guys in the photos below running around the harbor - shooting cannon in battle with the folks on the adjacent pier. Makes me think I'm on the wrong ship. Oh well (sigh)
