Does anybody know the size of the main sail cover? I want to have one made but unfortunately, I don't have the original to take measurements from.

Any sailmaker (including this website) will give you a diagram to instruct you on where and how to take measurements. There is no "standard" size for any mainsail cover as it is highly dependent on the sail dimensions, sail material, boom size, folding habits, etc.
Sailrite has kits that are based on the length of your boom also. They also put them together for you for a fee of course. This might be a bit long but, it is the smallest they make. http://www.sailrite.com/Finished-Sail-Cover-for-Booms-to-10-Feet
Do a google search for Lee Sail Covers. They have instructions for measuring your mast and boom w/ sail on. Also have pretty good pricing and quick delivery.
