Deck winches

My Catalina 30 is an '83, and the stripper ring on the starboard #40 winch has to be replaced. Any suggestions where I can get one? Thanks.

Lewmar. Defender sells a 40ST stripper ring but it was only made from 1984 to '89. My Catalina is a 1983.

I'm assuming you already checked Lewmar for availability directly.
The only alternative which comes to mind is a marine used parts store. All of the ones I've been in have a myriad of old winches.

There's a used marine supply store in Newport (CA) called Minney's. I'll check 'em out. Thanks for the tip.
