Thanks guys for the quick reply. I appreciate the help. I'm sure I'll need plenty more before it's over. This is my first sailboat, so it should be interesting. But I'm glad to be crossing over from the dark side.
Thanks. That would be great. I'm sure I can use plenty of help. Supposedly the marina won't be finished until August. Maybe as late as November from what they told me. I'll probably be moving there when they get it done. But look me up when you get back over here.
I could take over the slip at Colberts Cove where the boat is now. But, the latest development is the boat is advertised as a shoal draft boat and I don't believe it is. I found a prior survey of the boat, done by a respectable surveyor in this area, that clearly says the keel is 5'11" which is not a shoal draft. It sounds to me like he actually put a tape measure on it. For me, it's a deal breaker. It's pretty annoying that they would advertise it be one thing, when it's not. Makes me wonder what else they're hiding. So, thanks for the help, but I'm going to pass on this one and keep looking.
