Fiberglass resin used in 1993 hull layup

I am deciding whether to barrier coat when I strip all the bottom paint for the first time. If the resin is polyester I think I should, if it is vinylester or epoxy
Probably not. No blisters, in the water every winter except one, 8 years ago. Hull# Hun 40601K394, legend 40.5.
Time is short, all information appreciated.

If you are going that far...why not barrier coat regardless.
